Create a campaign.
The six steps of the campaign builder, from name to content.
Go to Campaigns and click New campaign. The builder has six steps. Your work saves as you go.
1. Name
Only you and your team see the name. For example “Q4 founders outreach”.
2. Contact lists
Pick one or more lists. Someone in two lists gets your emails only once.
Under Targeted ESPs, choose which email providers to email. See Email providers (ESP).
3. Senders
Pick the mailboxes to send from. Emails rotate across them. More mailboxes means more emails a day, without pushing any one mailbox hard.
Turn on ESP matching to send Google leads from Google mailboxes, and Microsoft leads from Microsoft mailboxes.
4. Sending limit
- Emails per day, per mailbox: includes follow-ups. 30 to 50 is safe for Google and Microsoft.
- Auto-pause when bounce rate reaches: default 5%. 2–3% protects your mailboxes better.
- Random gap between emails from one mailbox: for example 2 to 6 minutes, picked at random so sends don’t look automated.
5. Schedule
Choose the sending window, the days and the time zone. See Schedule and smart scheduling.
6. Content
Write your first email and your follow-ups. See Write your emails.
Review and launch
The Summary on the right shows your leads, senders, daily volume and the estimated end date. Click Review and launch to preview your emails and send yourself a test. See Preview, test and review.
Bounced, unsubscribed and blocked leads are always skipped.
